Scanner - Part-Time (Temporary Contract 6-12 months)

Principle Duties and tasks:

  • To be responsible for the scanning of all letters/documents and maintaining up to date status with a target of less than 1 week, ideally 48 hours.

Skills Required:

  • Basic IT skills & knowledge
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work without direct supervision & determine own workload priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience as a scanner an advantage but not essential as full training will be given

Working days required Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 8.00-2.00pm.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.30

COMMUNITY PARAMEDIC

(Part Time)

 

Mortimer GP Surgery is in a semi rural area close to Reading providing high quality care to 11,000 patients.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a paramedic to join our hard-working team, which already includes 2 Paramedics.

Working Days - Mondays, Tuesdays and either Wednesdays or Thursdays (3 days per week)

The ideal candidate would need: 

  • HCPC qualified and registered Paramedic
  • Clinical examination skills
  • Management of patients with common acute illnesses and minor ailments.
  • Caring attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Band 6
  • Mentor supervising
