Extended Surgery Hours

After consideration of the governments plans for extending opening hours of general practices and taking into account the majority views from patient survey, Mortimer Surgery will be offering ‘late night’ appointments from 1 September 2008. Click here for full details New Doctors (01/04/2008) Please welcome Dr Helga Clitherow DFFP MRCGP our new permanent lady doctor. Dr Clitherow will be here from 1 July, 2008. She will in principle be looking after Dr Lander's patients We would also like to welcome Dr Sarah Knight. She will be with us from August to December of this year. Dr Knight is a junior doctor gaining some experience of General Practice under the supervision of Dr Rock. Please welcome Dr Sa'adia Bhatti, our new Registrar. She will be with us for a period of twelve months, starting 6 August 2008. Dr Lander retires (05/03/2008) It is with mixed feelings that I am retiring from Mortimer Surgery on 31 March 2008. I have been at Mortimer since November 1976, and feel privileged to have been able to look after so many wonderful people. I am also lucky in having had such superb partners, both current and past. I also thank all those past and present members of the Surgery team for their loyal and hard working support over the last 30 odd years. I am confident that Mortimer Surgery will continue to provide a first class service to all of those patients who are registered here.
