|||||||||||
Nick was educated in Lincolnshire and Kent before training at St Mary's Hospital Medical School from 1993 - 1997. During this time he also undertook a degree in History of Medicine which sparked a continuing interest in this area.
After graduating Nick gained experience working in different areas as diverse as forensic psychiatry and intensive care before settling on a career in general practice. He underwent vocational training in Tunbridge Wells from 1997 - 1999, gaining membership of the RCGP later that year. He joined the Mortimer Practice in May 2000. His interests in Medicine include Chronic Disease Management, Evidence Based Medicine and Paediatrics. Currently he has introduced Medical Student Teaching at the Practice and hopes to continue this in the future.
Outside medicine, while not decorating his house, he is married to Rita who is also a GP; they have two children. Together they hope to continue a passion for travel, but he is learning to play golf, so this harmony may all soon change!
